-30-

The idea for the beginning of the Oscars was really funny..."dreaming" about being in all of the other movies that were nominated.

I hope I can stay up to watch a lot of them!
-I was surprised to see Shaun Tan. I'm a fan of his work...and I didn't know he did an animated short. (I'm also happy he won!)
-I like the design of the stage...how it changes.
-Neat how during the screen play awards it showed parts of the screenplay in work (from writing to typed)
-Reminded of La Cage when the male host came out in drag c:
-Fantasia (on the screen part of it?) and Starwars/Famous films tribute oh yeah
- Nice how they did live music along with the film clip
-Interesting how they showed the steps in making the special effects while the film clip was playing
-The hologram of the old Oscar host is really cool

In other news, I just got home from filming the english project. Every time something is filmed, there's challenges. This time, it was getting everyone together at once.
Two people in my group were in France (on the French trip), so we only had today to film the parts with everyone in it. We managed to finish it, and I hope we don't need to re-film anything.

  1. Did any of your STAC video/film experience prove useful?

  2. Hm...well, filming each scene of the movie multiple times helped. And remembering to change up the camera angle to not make it boring. Also, by making a plan of how we were going to film a scene (instead of zooming in and out randomly as we went along) made it look neater...

I also learned this nifty trick with sound in iMovie (how to soften background tracks so the audio stands out) which made the sound sound better.
