Ack! I almost forgot to post today!
Well today, the third workshop day, we finally got around to using paper mache! I only got around to it during the last 20 minutes, since I had to finish/improve on newspaper-ing my pieces of my sculpture. The paper mache felt really neat, and I hope that I'll be able to finish in time, so I can start (and finish) painting the "ball of wrath".
I'm still not sure what the ball represents. Today some of the people around me suggested that it represent the world, but I'm still thinking about it.
In the workshop, it was very casual and we got to put on music to listen to. I feel that I'm getting even more friendly with the people in "the clan" and opening up more...
-May edit more tomorrow, but I'm getting kicked off for the night-
I think you are doing a great job with the construction of this piece. Don't fret too much over what the ball is...it will come to you. Whatever it is, it will be a strong statement.
